Our house is about 100 km from Dublin airport, and about 80 km from Dublin city entre. A new motorway, located only 9 km from our house, will bring you there in about 1 hour. The nearest city is Kilkenny, about 30 km away.
Our own town, Carlow (the county's administrative "capital" with approx. 20,000 inhabitants) is only 2 km from our doorstep, yet we are considered to be "in the country". Find out more @ http://www.carlowtourism.com/ and www.countycarlow.com/ OR

We also have a small apartment in Frankfurt, Germany, which we could offer for exchange purposes and/or use if you want to explore more than just Ireland.
