Comfortable house in north of Poland, lake, 1,5 h to Baltic Sea.
We live in a small city in lakeland. It's close to nature as this region is not an industrail area and it offers many attractions for active people and those who want just to relax. The live goes pretty slow here, so it's not a place for those, who looks for a tumult and big city'ies attractions. If You want discover more history and some monuments You can visit cities like Gdańsk, Szczecin or Poznań which are approx 2,5 h by car. 1,5 h by car and You are by Baltic Sea which offers You beautiful sandy beaches and generally nice weather. Of course prices here - are lower than in the countries of Western Europe - which appreciate our foreign guests :)
We have comfortable 160 m2 house. In ground floor there is a basement and garage. There you will find also a laundry room. In first floor we there are: a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, a terrace and bathroom with a shower. In the second floor there are a big (30m2) bedroom with king size bed and a cot (where sleeps our baby boy Michał), a big bathroom, and three bedrooms which are our kids rooms.
Inside you will find everything what you need for stay; fully equiped kitchen, wasching machine, dishwasher, tv, dvd, stereo, wireless internet connection and many toys for younger children. Our bikes: 3 for adults and 2 for youth are also to your disposal. We also have bike child seat up to 22 kg. It is also possible to exchange our car - 7 seats Chrysler Town and Country (2014). We have a garage and place for park in front of house.
When it comes to animals, we have a cat - Luna. You don't have to worry about her as during our absenses she will be somewhere else. We also have aquarium with small fishes. They need to be feeded every day, or every two days. If you weren't home longer than two days, there is no problem - just give us a message, so we can ask someone to feed them.
For summer 2024 we are looking for a one-two week exchange. We would like to find a calm place (in a small city or village), where we could spend nice time with our children. We like hiking, cycling and swimming. Proximity of hills, mountains or the sea would be great.
We are OPEN for all offers as we love to discover new cultures and places!

Szczecinek is small town in north of Poland. Our flat is situated by the lake, swiming pool and the complex of tennis courts. You can enjoy here all kind of water activities like swimming, cannoing, yachting, fishing or try to use newly built water ski lift (see for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eB4jYtVfu88&feature=fvst).
Our town – Szczecinek is situated 80 km from the Baltic sea – you can see its wide sand beaches within 1,5 h by car.
It is also worth to see Borne Sulinowo (24 km from Szczecinek) – charming city located on a lake and bordered by thick forest – high security base for the Northern Group of Red Army occupying this place untill 1992r. On 1993, Borne Sulinowo became a registered town and officially opened to the Polish public to begin settling here. Due to much neglect by the military rule, most of the city’s buildings were left in ruins.
Those, who are interested in history of world war 2, should see International meeting on military vehicles, which take place in Borne Sulinowo each August. See an example of that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPULezyo0JM
